Moustapha Hamdi graduated in 1990 at the University of Damascus Syria as a doctor of medicine, surgery and obstetrics. After graduating, he moved to Belgium to complete an internship in general and plastic surgery at the various hospitals of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He was then part of the academic staff of the Hospital in Glasgow Canniesburn, engaged in microsurgery and breast reconstruction between 1996-1997.
Although, Prof. Dr. Moustapha Hamdi has built his career with reconstructive breast surgery, he always provides his patients state-of-the-art aesthetic surgery. Indeed, all reconstructive surgeries are performed with the highest aesthetic outcomes, with an intensive research of beauty and harmonious shapes.
Beside his expertise in breast surgery, Prof. Dr. Hamdi also offers his patients different types of cosmetic surgeries, both for the face and for the body.
As the term suggests, a reconstructive procedure restores or improves the function of a body without damaging its shape. This is for instance the case with the remodeling of a breast after a mastectomy.
The aim of aesthetic surgery is to restore the shape or to create without compromising its function. As an example, rhinoplasty should never alter a patient’s sense of smell.
Prof. Hamdi is considered one of the World’s leading surgeons for aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery.
Several personal surgical techniques were named after him.
Breast lift (mastopexy)
Breast enlargement with implants
Breast augmentation with autologous tissue
Fillers (filling injections)
For your comfort and flexibility…
With a view to always offering his patients the best service, Prof. Dr. Moustapha Hamdi performs the surgical procedures in several places. In addition to receiving his patients at his Clinic « Ogeeplast », he performs surgery at the University Hospital of Brussels (Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel) and at Delta Hospital belonging to the Chirec Group.
